FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE AND THE
ATTENTION WILL FOLLOW:

Each of us is created with a unique personality that cannot be duplicated. Put that exclusivity to work in your favor. Create in a way that comes only from your heart. The public pays attention to that which is real, and the authentic Artist that fits that description is no different. It is all right to be different from others; otherwise, you will become stagnant in your personal growth as well as in your career by following what everyone else is following, and doing what others are doing. Fill your life with people who are caring and supportive and those who love you for who you are. Seeking out those who can engage you by their own uniqueness will enable you to become successful and victorious. Allow your outlook to be set free through the art medium for others to enjoy and to benefit from.

Ask yourself what you are looking to gain from your passion of art. Are you looking for money and riches? Fame? Recognition? Notoriety? Status? What price do you place on creation? Set your sights on fulfilling your passion to create rather than pursuing the attention and glamour. Fulfill your purpose and the attention will follow. With some patience and determination, you will be successful and find yourself trying to escape the attention that it brings. By no means should you compromise your vision and what you and your art stand for. Unfortunately, I have witnessed this compromise in Artists who carelessly did anything asked in order to gain footing in the art business. What they thought would be their big break in the art world turned out only to temporarily satisfy their ego without any long-term positive results or advancement. It is easy to see how an Artist could stray from their vision due to the pressure involved in this highly competitive field. Taking a slow and steady approach allows your personal growth to develop along with the increased recognition.
